Pro Bowl left tackle Tristan Wirfs is active for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13 after missing one game due to a knee injury suffered against San Francisco in Week 10. The Buccaneers are keeping nine offensive linemen active for their game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, one more than their usual count.
The Bucs will be without two key defensive players, as outside linebacker Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and rookie safety Tykee Smith were both ruled out. Tryon-Shoyinka was downgraded from doubtful to out on Saturday and did not travel with the team to Charlotte. Smith will miss his third straight game due to a knee injury.
The Buccaneers and Panthers submitted their list of inactives at 2:35 p.m. ET on Sunday, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their Week 13 game at Bank of America Stadium. After elevating quarterback Michael Pratt from the practice squad on Saturday, the Buccaneers had 54 available players and thus had to name six inactives to get down to the game-day limit of 48.
