The Tigers rolled to a 28-7 win over South Carolina State in Atlanta.JSU head coach TC Taylor, a former record setting receiver for JSU and Magnolia native, wins the Celebration Bowl in just his second year cementing himself in program history as the first JSU coach the win the big game in Atlanta.This game was rematch of the 2021 Celebration Bowl but this time is was all Jackson State. JSU led 14-0 at halftime after a scoreless first quarter for both teams.The JSU defense shutout the Bulldogs again in the third quarter while the Tigers scored another 14 points in the fourth quarter to seal the deal.Canton High School product Jacobian Morgan went 15-21 for 233 yards passing and both of his touchdown passes went to Joanes Fortilien who led JSU with 7 catches.SWAC Offensive Player of the Year Irv Mulligan was a force on the ground with 25 carries for 69 yards and two touchdowns.Madison Central alum Isaiah Spencer was the top receiver of the game for Jackson State with 3 catches for 123 yards.
