Lamb suffered a setback in Saturday’s practice and was a limited participant due to a back injury. He drew a questionable designation for Monday’s tilt.
“He had something pop up in a 7-on-7 drill,” Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Saturday of Lamb’s availability for Monday. “We’ll look at him [on Sunday], but I’m not of high concern.”
The concern is now gone and Lamb is slated to play his second game of the season with starting quarterback Cooper Rush, as Dak Prescott is out for the remainder of the season.
The Cowboys have been dealing with the injury bug quite a lot this campaign. In addition to Prescott and others, pass rusher Micah Parsons missed four games due to an ankle injury while Demarcus Lawrence is on injured reserve with a foot issue.
In nine games, Lamb has 59 receptions for 681 yards and four touchdowns.
The Cowboys (3-6) host the Texans (6-4) at 8:15 p.m. ET Monday at AT&T Stadium.
