OXNARD, California (KLTV) – Where oh where is Cee Dee Lamb? Well, this we do know: we know where he isn’t.
Five busloads arrived in Oxnard without number 88. And teammates who are chiming in understand.
“He is a huge part of everything we do, You know for sure. His presence obviously will be missed, but while he’s handling things, he thinks he has to handle. We have to handle business as well. Like that’s the best, that’s the best thing we can do is just make sure we’re upholding the standard in his absence. So when he comes back, you know, we are a well-oiled machine. We are operating a 110%.”
Lamb also missed out on the OTA’s and the mandatory minicamp in the off-season. And in the process racked up over $100,000 in fines,
As for missing training camp, he could be fined up to $40,000 each missed practice. So there is still hope, he could still be here Thursday for the first practice.
It’s a business, make no mistake about it. No one is saying Lamb is not one of the top receivers in the NFL, but how long can he hold out before the Cowboys and he come up with a deal?
